Connecting studios?

Hi everyone...can you get connecting studios at any of the resorts? My first inclination is no but never hurts to ask we are planning to rent a 2br at Kidani 7 mos out for May 2012 but thinking about a plan B. OKW would be fine with 9 "adults" and one under 2 but in thinking more about it, renting points for three (I already have my friend renting points out to me so that is taken care of) value studios at AKV (which I think is at Jambo house only, correct?) would be less (for the full week) than the 2br standard view at Kidani and OKW and have more sleeping and more bathroom options than OKW. I think with all of us, the three bathrooms is probably best, maybe not a total MUST but definitely better than 2 (like OKW). I would just like being together or at least close as this is a family vacation and my bro's fam has never been to Disney

There are no Studios that connect with another Studio. There are Studios that connect with a 1-Bedroom to make a 2-Bedroom Lockoff.

I figured...thanks. Can requests be made that the studios are at least close-ish to each other or on the same floor, etc? Seeing as, if we could even get them, they would be all under the same reservation (I assume).

If they are on the same travel plan number, they are supposed to try and assign them to be near each other. That's was MS told me for our upcoming trip where we have 2 studios on one travel plan number.

The number of value villas is very limited and they go at 11 months out. So if you aren't booking until 7 months out, you are probably not going to get three of them, if one.

If you can't book until 7 months out, don't expect any value studios to be available. If it's possible though, May would be one of the times most likely to find availability at many places. If it was me, I would be booking the Kidani 2 bedroom for the 3 bathrooms, even though it will be less space than the OKW 2 bedroom. BUT....Another option would be 3 OKW studios. They would likely put you in the same building, so you will all be nearby, and you'll have more "real" beds versus a couple of sleep sofas and a sleep chair.

I think that we will go with whatever they have available for us...first choice being Kidani 2 br with the 3 baths...then perhaps the 3 studios at value in Jambo then 2 br OKW (the two bath thing would be fine but not optimal).

At seven months out, I'd skip even attempting to get three Value studios at JH. Just not going to happen. Three studios at OKW would be a better chance.
