Connecting Studios at The Polynesian?

Has anyone been able to secure connecting studios at the Polynesian Village? We are a party of 6 and this would be the only affordable way we could stay at the Poly, which is why I am asking?

Some have reported getting them. I have not seen a report saying they did not get them though requested. Odds are high if you request connecting rooms because all but two of the 360 studios are connecting studios.

From what I read elsewhere there are only two studios which are not connectable. I would therefore say your adds are good if you request it.

Odds are good that you can get this. And worst case, you can request rooms close together.

However, it is impossible to guarantee. This is because Poly will run near 100% occupancy, so for one connecting studio to be available, two parties (likely unrelated) would have to check out of the units that make the connecting studios on the same day. And if 30 people were requesting connecting studios that day, this would have to happen 30 times for everybody to get their request.
Disney could do things to make this more likely, like trying to put people with the same checkout date next to each other, but so many factors go into room scheduling that this cannot be guaranteed either.
But so far no one has posted that they asked for it and did not get it.
