May use one membership for 3 night and other membership for 1 night at Saratoga. Points not transferable is why 2 different memberships. Does disney still allow you to stay in same room rather than moving for 1 night? We have done that in recent past but maybe not 2 different memberships. Any way to call resort about this?

I have a DVC member friend and we have done it several times. We do a 3 way call with Member Services to link the reservations. We do typically have to go to the front desk on the switchover day to update our bands/keys. We have done it at Grand California, OKW, Poly, BWV. Never had an issue with having to move. We make sure we mention it at check-in.

I called member services today. The cast member said they do link the stays together. Just may need to remind them when we get to first reservation. Thanks for the replies.

We just had a reservation like this at AKV. The first night was booked with one contract with a different use year from the rest of the nights. They linked them, but they will still show up as two different reservations. They made sure to know that they could not guarantee that we would not have to move, but that the resort would make every effort. I double checked with them when we checked in for the first night and they said said we would not have to move, but that we would have to come down to the desk the next morning to check out and check in. It all went smoothly for us.
