I'm assuming all cat 11 staterooms are non-connecting ? We'll need 2 rooms for our family of five and we were going to put the three kids in the second room. I was just hoping some were connecting but I have a feeling they're not ? Thanks.

that is exactly what I was told when I booked for our family of 5. We had to book category 10 rooms (not category 11) if we wanted the connecting door between them rather than just 2 rooms side by side. Our 3 kids are too young to consider just side-by-side rooms so we went w/2 cat. 10's and made sure we repeatedly specified connecting rooms to the TA helping us. Hope this helps. :D

This does help---thank you ! Our children are not that young. By the time we cruise in late 2004 they'll be 17, 13 and 11. I'm pretty sure they'll be alright next door, but maybe I'll get a quote on 2 cat 10's just to compare the price. Thanks again.

You could also price out a category 9 with a 12 across the hall. You'd get a window. There are a lot of categories that have an 11 directly across the hall. If you really wanted a window or verandah, you could see how much it would be to book an 11 across the hall instead of 2 rooms side by side.
