Has anyone has experience with successfully requesting a connecting room without checking in at the same time as the people you are connecting with? My parents, my husband, our DD and I are traveling in Nov and we are all staying at Pop. DH, DD and I are taking an earlier flight and will be checking in a few hours earlier than my parents. I called WDW Travel Co. and the guy I spoke to said we would not have a problem making the request all they would have to do is link the reservation numbers. Is this true? Thanks for the help :)

I requested and got connecting rooms at Pop on one of our trips and we checked in 2 days apart. So just for a few hous you'll be fine. Yes that is all they do is link the conf. #'s.

I don't think that the time you all check in has anything to do with whether you get your request for connecting rooms or not. If they are available I believe they will work to give them to you.
Good Luck

Thanks so much for the replies! We have never requested a connecting room before so I was not sure of the process. Our DD will be 6 months when we travel so I will feel much better having family next to us at least on one side in case we need help....plus at least we'll only be potentially disturbing one family should our DD have a tough night. Thanks!!
