Ahhh! The fun begins. We are returning to WDW in June 2006 ( waiting that long only because we were just there in November 04 and Dad has to replenish the vacation fund ) and the planning has begun. By popular demand, we will be heading to WL. Since my two DD are growing up ( 9 & 15) they (and Mom and Dad) need more privacy so I think we will get two rooms if at all possible. That being said the extra cost means we will most likley need to limit ourselves to a standard room. Does anyone know if there are any standard rooms that have connecting doors? IF so where are they located? We are not ones to be picky over rooms, the only exception would be late night noise. Thanks for the help. :hourglass

There are no standard rooms at WL with connecting doors. You would have to book the Woods View or higher in order to request connecting rooms. Have you thought about booking a Deluxe room which sleeps up to 6? Oftentimes it is about the same price as two rooms. The Wilderness Lodge celebrates it's 11th Anniversary in May. You'll love it!!! :earsboy: :jumping1: :thewave: :earsboy:

We are going in July and currently have two rooms booked at POR for the same reason. Our kids are 19 and 15 and this will be the first time we have done this. Last year we were a little on top of each other and my hubby was getting grumpy! :flower: Anyway, hoping to move to WL when the new AP rates come out. I have read that standard rooms do not connect so I guess we'll deal with the hallway entrance. Maybe we'll get an upgrade or we can always pass things back and forth through the balcony!

Well, the deluxe room is something to consider. I thought I read somewhere though they really aren't that much bigger than the standard. Has anyone stayed in one? Thank's for the input. We really want to stay at the lodge and want to make this trip our longest visit yet but lodging costs are a concern for me. Have a great day everyone!

The CM is happy to take a request for adjacent rooms in the standard view but adjoining does require an upgrade. At least this is what he told me last night.

Ok, Adjacent is the same as adjoining...it means two rooms that share a wall but no door. Connecting means there is a door between the two rooms. :cool1:
