Connecting Rooms at Pop? Where should I request?

I called Pop this week about my reservation to make sure we would be getting 2connecting rooms. She said I needed to call back one week prior to check in, which for us will be 3/17. I would like to request a building at the same time. What do you think will be best for our group: me, dh, nephew 17, niece 9, ds 8 and dd 5. I have some mild health problems so I would like to be close to the bus if we decide to ride because we will have our van since we are driving from OH.

I would also like to be somewhat close to a pool even though it may be too cool yet in March to swim.

This is our first trip so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Instead of a particular building, you should request "connecting rooms, near the buses and a pool" in that order IF that's the order that matters.

Given your apparent need for connecting rooms, you would probably be most successful making that your only request.

Pop is not a large resort - just a big one. has 2,880 rooms in a small area.

so walking anywhere is not a big deal.

the food court, gift shop and bus stop - are all together

just don't to eat breakfast after 7:15am and expect no one to be there. It will be full and packed until at least 10:00am.

lots of guest want to eat before going to the parks.

recommend if you don't get up early (bakery opens at 6:30am) - then just go to the parks to eat breakfast.

I'm afraid to ask for connecting rooms, thinking they may stick us out in the back just to fill the request. I'd like them, but kids are teens, so being next door without the connection would be fine too.
Are there many connecting rooms? Should I just wait until I get there and if I don't like where they put us then take regular rooms?

we will be eating in the rooms so that won't be a problem I hope but thanks for the tip.

That's a good suggestion and those are the 2 priorities I have.

Our children are 9,8 and 5 so I will definitely need connecting-even though we will have a 17 yo nephew in with them, I will feel better having a connecting door.
