Hopefully some of you DVC gurus can help me with this dilemma.

I had a reservation for the nights of December 20-21 at OKW. Then my plans changed and I got a reservation for December 22 at SSR because OKW wasn't available but I got on the waiting list for OKW. I found today that I got into OKW. These are two separate reservations, however.

My question is: (about time, huh?) Is there a way to connect my reservations or do I have to check out and back in and change rooms?

If you're using points for both, and they are for the same type of villa, they are linked and you won't have to move. This is true even though they look like two different reservations. You can e-mail or call member services to set your mind at ease, but I've added on a night here and there over the years and the reservations are always linked.

I was in the exact same frame of mind two days ago - My waitlist came through for a one night add on at the same resort. I saw that it was 2 different res#'s and freaked :scared1: knowing that DH would not be a happy DH if he had to check out & check in and switch rooms .

I called member services and they told me the reservation was linked - I would have the same room for the entire trip and checking out & in wasn't required

Yay! Thanks so much y'all.

Now to find out about my meal plan. Is it continuous too?

Should be. If you're nervous about it, send MS an email or give them a call.

IF you're able to link them it'll be treated as one reservation and you MUST get any DP for the entire time. They may have already linked them, if not ask they do so. Make sure they have the DDP added if that's what you want.
