Connecticut DVC Members Thread

I know, these threads start and stop all the time, but I am fairly new to the Disboards, and would like to become more active. Anyone other CT folks out there? I am from the Northeastern side of CT. I can't wait for our next trip home to BLT.

Oh, And how about our Uconn Huskies!!!

I haven't lived in CT for about 4 years... but I consider the the Northwest Corner of CT "home".

Wilderness Lodge is my home resort... but BWV is calling loudly!

We are from Southington CT and have been DVC members since 1995. Our homes are at OKW and AKV. We have 600 points split evenly between the two. We have just returned from a trip to Saratoga Springs and loved it. The 85 degree weather was super. TV channel line-up is horrible but glad they carry ESPN. Loved watching the huskies and are proud of both teams.

Also from the Quiet Corner in Woodstock. I work up 395 at Worcester State University. We have 250 points between SSR and AKV, and are looking forward to a trip with our adult children, and our first granddaughter in November at the Treehouses. (Before that DH and I will be in Jambo in value studio for F & G in May).

I haven't been getting enough sleep, watching way too much NCAA -- both men's and women's. I love the Women's game, lukewarm toward the men. Both DH and I have grad degrees from UConn and last night we were on opposite sides of the Women's final. I wanted A & M to crush Notre Dame; he wanted a Big East team to win. I was very sad that UConn had to play Notre Dame for a 4th time after winning the Big East. I know I should be more excited about the men -- bought DH some UConn sleep shorts, but now our Mr. and Mrs. UConn gnomes (Lena and Sven) won't have much to watch on tv.

I agree with the late nights recently over Uconn Basketball. Sad to see the Woman Huskies lose the other night as well.

We are from South Windsor Ct, and have a lake house in Eastford Ct! We own 285 BLT points and 290 at SSR! We joined DVC over a year ago (yes addonitis hit quick all SSR points resale could not resist!) We have THV booked for 7 nights in Feb then moving over to BLT for 4! Anyone else in planning stages?

Family of 5 too, sleep deprived from watching the UConn games. My family who live in Eastford and Woodstock use Gerardi Insurance! Small world.

Live in Guilford, grew up in Trumbull! Owners since 2001. Points: 150 VWL, 150 BCV. Think about selling VWL and buying more BCV or AKL. Who knows!

This is great, Connecticut is representing very nicely!
We are Heading home to BLT for 9/16 - 9/23, and then again in January, just not sure which resort, will be checking at the 7month mark to see what is available.

Our family is fairly young. DD1 is 7, DD2 is 3 and DS is 1.

Looking forward to the warm weather coming in over the weekend into next week, YIPPEE!!!
