Congrats to Magic Kingdom!!

Surprise universal islands of adventure is number 1 second is discovery cove

Hollywood Studios number 5!?! I think not...

IoA beating MK.
HS beating Epcot and AK.

Both of these lead me to believe it's more young males voting for this thing.

Was Epcot below Hollywood Studios? It shouldn't be in my opinion.

I think Epcot's attendance and target audience has switched to those festivals. I am addicted to the Food & Wine events. But maybe that doesn't translate to an Amusement Park voting crowd.

These results were just released today.

Disney does well on the Tripadvisor waterparks list too.

Yeah I guess the popular Food & Wine Festival and Flower & Garden Festival don't count.

But Universal Islands of Adventure is #1? I thoroughly enjoyed the Harry Potter area of Island of Adventure . .the rest of the park was mediocre. Just and odd mish-mash of themes and rides. I did not really enjoy the Marvel area (besides the Spiderman ride), the Sunday comics area (who under the age of 60 even know these characters?), and the Dr. Seuss area. If it wasn't for Harry Potter, I would have felt like I wasted my money on that park. An expensive six-flags Theme park with less rides.
I enjoyed the original Universal Studios more.

DHS at #5? Interesting. It's always been a great park and despite the recent closings it has always been my favorite park there. In its hey day .. it was fantastic and the "making of movies" theme was incredible. It has fun shows you can't find anywhere else and an awesome ride in Tower of Terror.

Epcot (for the "general" public (aka - non-Disney fans)) .. you have to admit is pretty boring. A lot of rides where you sit and get "educated" .. a disjointed theme .. and half the park is just a big shopping and eating area (which people who like rides will find awfully boring). If it wasn't for Soaring and Test Track I think a lot of newcomers to the park would just say "That's it" when it comes to rides there. I wonder what attendance at Epcot would be WITHOUT the festivals?

I agree. IOA had too many rides that were the same concept. Sit down with 3D glasses and get moved around. Cool, yes but the luster wore off quickly. Harry Potter's original ride was awesome and I'll see if the 2nd one improves the park any. Marvel area was much better when I was younger, the rides seem meh as an adult.

Even Universal Studios gets old quickly. With the Universal FP equivalent we were walking on to every ride over and over and it got to the point where we were ready to go back the hotel super early.

I really can't believe IOA beat MK. Universal Studios Orlando maybe I could see, but IOA really doesn't have enough in it. I agree that from what I've seen, Tokyo DL and DisneySea should be the top. I haven't been to them yet, but I want to go soon!

I love the UOR parks, but I think it's odd that MK was below IoA and DC to say the least. DHS's rank also confuses me a bit, but at the vert least, MK is the most-visited theme park in the world, so you'd think that would be #1.

Is there a category for "Best Ride Rationing System"? While Universal was building Harry Potter themed areas, Disney was upgrading "in the background". Perhaps if Disney wants to climb to the top of a list best "Theme" parks, it should concentrate on "Theming". I'll bet in 2021 after it adds significant theming and attractions, Disney's parks will rate higher. And before the "but look at the attendance" crowd rears its head, just remember that more people eat in MacDonalds and Subway in an hour than eat in Victoria & Albert's in a year.

What do they base these rankings on? Discovery Cove #2 in the world?? DCA ranked below Dollywood? lol

No surprise here. Oh how the mighty have fallen. You reap what you sow, Disney has chosen to pluck every dollar they can from its customers instead of building attractions. No surprise universal is now so popular, that is all they have done(built new attractions). Wake up call Disney management!
