Confusion over fall free dining??

Hi everyone! I am planning an October 2012 - we were there this past December and loved having free dining!

I was under the impression that fall 2012 free dining dates were not posted. After scouring the internet, someone at another board posted this link http://bookwdw.reservations.disney....me=Promo&promotionCode=fy11myw&market=fy11myw

This to me looks like it's saying the free dining dates are:
Select nights:
August 14 - November 18, 2011
November 26 - December 22, 2011
January 2 - February 15, 2012
February 26 - March 8, 2012
April 15 - May 31, 2012
August 5 - November 16, 2012
November 24 - December 20, 2012

When I try to book a package in any of these date ranges, the dining is definitely not coming up as free. Am I confused? Does this mean something else?

Those aren't Free Dining dates. I think those are just dates when those advertised rates would be available. We're hoping for FD for October also and I wouldn't expect the dates for October to come out until mid to late summer.

Those aren't free dinng dates, just off peak dining dates.

That page you linked doesn't mention anything about free dining - just 3 different types of bookings you can do, at certain "as low as" prices - room only, room+ticket, room+ticket+dining (which would be paid) for those particular dates.

Current offers can be found by going through the Special Offers link on the Disney page (but as others have stated - there is no free dining offer out right now).

I've looked at the link and that is not a free dining offer. It says nothing about free dining, and the dining option for which the price is given is in fact for a package with paid dining, specifically the Quick Service dining plan. They're not even discounted rates, pretty much the normal off-peak rates for a family of four in a standard room purchasing length of stay tickets.

We always go in Dec. and are hoping for FD. The offer usually doesn't come out till August sometime. I just hope it comes out, I love having FD. Once the dates are posted you will know if you visit the DIS boards. I remember the Disney site being so slow it was hard to book.
