Confusion on using points

I seem to always forget from time to time how things work especially when I don't do it for a while.

I have two home resorts: OKW at 150 pts and BWV at 75 pts. We are going in May and we want to stay at BWV in a 2BR. When I make my reservation, do I just tell them I want to use all 225 points (I banked this year) plus whatever needs to be used from next years points? It would be nice to call and just say please use whatever points I have banked plus whatever I need to get me in in May.

Could someone shed some light on this and in easy terms please?!

Did you bank both your OKW points AND your BWV points? You can make a reservation 11 months from the checkout day at BWV only with those points that are BWV home resort points (that includes those BWV that are banked) and you can borrow BWV points from the following year. That means that you could have as many as 225 points to use there. You can also add on to your ressie at the 7 month window with your OKW points.

As Diane mentioned, at this time you can only use your BWV points for reservations there for next May. In Oct. - 7 months from checkout - you may use points from OKW (or. Any other resort) at BWV.

With banking and borrowing, you could have as many as 225 BWV points for that time right now.
