Confusion on park reservation

Good morning all. We arrive Dec 30. According to the website today my window opens for a park reservation. It allows me to click in. But shows Dec 25th as the only date. And it shows Dec 26-31 as “unavailable”. Not just that you can’t do it. But that it’s “unavailable with a slash mark through it”.
I’m so confused. Did both parks literally fill within 30 seconds of being open? Or are they just going to do this week day by day? There isn’t anyone online for a chat yet.

120 days from today is Dec 25. Your dates are not even available yet. Starting 5 days from now, you can reserve your first day. The reservation calendar opens one day at a time.

I'm seeing all the dates open. Refresh your cookies, clear your browsing history or use a different browser or device. This is known glitch where the software or whatever remembers you and doesn't update the dates. I dunno what the proper name for it is.. but I just helped someone else with the same issue.

Your dates aren't open yet.. but keep this advice in mind too. It's too early in the morning for me..

Say I didn’t think my date was available either but the webpage tells me my window opens today like under my reservations and when I click on it it like opens. But that makes sense to me because yeah five days from now would actually be my 120 mark day I just don’t know why it’s telling me that today is my day it kind of freaked me out

Are you staying on property? If so, don't stress about this. You are essentially guaranteed park reservations for your days. You could reserve them Dec 29 and be fine.

We arrive Christmas day with the 26th being our first park day. Our ressies are through Costco travel and we have experienced all the same issues in regards to the "window" of when we can make park reservations. One would think that for what we are paying, a simple calculator would be included and all the travel agents would have a clue (they don't).
I was told by a Travel Agent to make sure to use Google Chrome when making the reservations.

The open question: when does the window actually open? Which time zone and what time?

I don't think anyone really knows, because getting park reservations is not a struggle like getting dining reservations is. You really don't need to stress or set an alarm.

I was responding to the poster above me that mentioned travel agents. I guess I didn't quote correctly.

I'm not sure where you are seeing the Disney website telling you the day tho. December calendar only shows till dec 25th.

Legit on my confirmation it says Aug 27th. That’s why there was confusion.

If you are staying on property, you won't have a problem. Last year, I made reservations for NYE on Dec 28th, just use the hotel bucket. We will be there Dec 23-Jan 3rd.

ETA - But thanks for the reminder to book my reservations for this weekend.

It literally doesn't matter. We could have made a reservation for NYE last year THAT MORNING as magic key holders. We actually did go Jan 1 and made that reservation on NYE. It's not going to be booked up.
