Confusing question, need help!

My DD & DSIL won a WDW trip and we are going with them. One room for 4 people, so we have a room only reservation, but our park reservation/tickets are linked to their room. So I will assume when we do genie+, VQ, $LL that will have to be done under their MDE account??

No, none of that is correct. Park reservations and tickets cannot be "linked to a room," they're linked to individuals. Everyone needs to have their own MDX profile and link to one another via Friends and Family.

As long as all four of you are linked as F&F on all MDE accounts (one per family is enough, with the 2nd adult being managed by the one who owns the MDE account), and everyone has permission to plan and share for everyone else, then Genie+LLs, VQ, ILL$ and ADRs etc. can be done from any either MDE account.
