Confusing Bank/Borrow Question for the Experts

I have a Dec. UY so Dec. 1, 2008 to Nov. 31, 2009 is my 08 UY. I have a ressie for June using 08 points and a ressie for Dec. using banked 08 and current 09 points. If I add another room to my June vacation, I have to borrow points from 09. Here's where I get confused and unsure. If that 2nd June room ressie is canceled (before 31 days) can those borrowed points be reallocated to the 1st room that was booked on 08 points? Can I than bank those points into 09 and have those new banked points reallocated to the Dec. ressie returning the current 09 points being used to my 09 UY? Am I making any sense at all?

Yes, MS has usually allowed members to reallocate points used as you describe. As long as they are Home Resort points, reserved during the 11 month priority - or any points used at 7 months - you should be able to use the borrowed points for the reservation you are keeping and then bank the remaining 2008 points (based on the banking deadline of July 31).
