I need a little help. I have a trip planned for Thanksgiving week. The room is set. We are renting points for a stay at the BWV. I have set up our MDE account months ago. I have added the wife and kids to it. I have picked out the magic band colors. Our reservation shows up in my reservations. I purchased park tickets last week from Disney. They show up under My reservation tab just like the room.
Over the weekend, I got a package in the mail with our park ticket cards and a card for memory maker. Why would I get cards? I thought the tickets would be set up via our magic bands. What am I doing wrong?

TIA

That didn't happen to me but I've heard this happening many times to others. I don't think it's anything to be worried/concerned about though.

I thought maybe I needed to do the link scan function. When I do, I get a note Already Linked. This ticket or pass has already been linked to another guest's account. What is going on???

I agree with SandyinMonterey that it's nothing to worry about. Just think of the actual tickets as back-up.

If there is any issue, it will be taken care of when you check in at the front desk.

If you are still concerned - give Disney reservations a call - they willbe happy to help.

If the tickets are showing up under the "My Reservations and Tickets" tab, it sounds like they are already linked to your account. You can double check which cards are linked to your account by looking under the "MagicBands and Cards" tab. If it shows both your ticket and your band you are set - both will be able to access your MDE account. No information is stored on the band, it is just a way to access your account.

Thanks to all.

It looks like all is fine. I did make a call to verify. Had a nice conversation with a CM. Part of the issue was the fact I was using phone app vs computer. She checked my account and everything was linked. I too used my computer and all looked good. Thanks again to all. I just wanted to make sure it was not user error. :confused3
