I have used the DDP several times in the past, so I know how it works.

But, this trip I can't seem to get ANY of the ADRs I want in the DDP. The places I have always ate at in the past are now either 2 credits or not available in DDP....only Deluxe plan.

My biggest problem is Epcot. Le Cellier is out, so are BOTH of the Mexican Restaurants! I finally chose Le France.....never been there, but wanted to try, so I guess its okay.

Have they changed the plan that much.......it seems much harder to find places that take it.

DTD is a challenge now too.....I loves Wolfgang Pucks....now its Deluxe only.

My Big gripe is the website for reservations. It says they take the dining plan when you do the search, but when you comfirm it shows a box that it only accepts the Deluxe!

Anyone else as frustrated as I am?:headache:

Not sure what is going on....

I have heard that the website has this "deluxe" thing only accepted, but that is wrong. (at least it was a bit back, not sure why they haven't fixed it)
If the restaurant takes the dining plan, it takes both the DDP and the DxDDP.
Unless something has changed in the last week or so, and I haven't heard anything. I am on the boards 2-3 times a day, getting ready for my upcoming trip. So I should've read/heard this change.

I do believe it is a misprint....at least the Mexican places. Now which WP place you are referring, not sure.

Hopefully a mod can confirm this for you.

Yes, on that brochure it lists both Mexican places accept the DDP. That means they take the reg plan or the deluxe plan.

Yay for you OP, go ahead and make your ressie!

It is just another Disney website error. There are no restaurants that take the DxDDP but not the basic DDP. And the current list is probably the same as when you used it last with the exception of now-closed or newly-opened restaurants - aside from Le Cellier becoming a signature restaurant for dinner only, no restaurant has stopped accepting the plan or changed the number of credits required since 2006.

You really can't trust Disney's website as far as that goes. For a while, the new Epcot restaurants were listed as accepting the basic plan but not deluxe, and now at least one of them is showing it accepts deluxe but not basic. The .pdf brochure that Luv2Roam linked is the final word on which restaurants participate.

I will add a caution on another dining plan related thing that has caught a lot of people, including me, off guard. The website will say restaurants (like T-Rex and Fulton's) are on the dining plan when they are only covered by the Premium dining plan. Stick to the brochure and you'll be fine, though. :)
