Ok So I booked bounceback for Nov while at WDW in May, well there are 2 days we would like to be there that were not within the dates avaliable for bounceback, I have a CM friend but we booked dining this time and can not get dining thru CM rate and so I thought well we should wait for an AP rate to come out or another code.

So I called yesterday thinking should probably at least book the BC just in case nothing came out so we would have the rooms anyway and the CM tells me that there is only water view or GV Club level, which is odd b/c I had my computer up and it says that BC has avaliability GV, but I thought well maybe the computer is wrong, so then she knew I had an AP so she says let me check AP rates, well I knew an AP rate had just come out but I am booking for NOVEMBER, again, I have never done this before so I think well maybe she knows something that I do not and tells me that the Contemporary has GV avaliable for 365 and GF 435 (Nov 7&8) at an AP rate and there was nothing at the BC and she was really pushing the Contemporary. I explained to her that I had a bounceback at the BC and really did not want to switch resorts.

Is there an AP rate out for NOV now, or was she full of it and just trying to get me to book? I got online and then booked a GV at the BC for my dates. When she said there was nothing.

I think she was trying to find you a great rate and to her she did.

the only AP rates I know about quit in 9/27.

Good thing you went ahead and booked what you did. The CM was just giving you rack rate prices for GF and Contemporary. No AP rates are available yet for Nov. as mentioned they are only out through 9/27.
Hopefully, when the next set comes out they will include your dates and you can jump on it then. Otherwise, at least your getting a discount for part of your stay with the BB

Different inventory most likely. All the rooms are not pooled together that can be selected at will. I believe they are broken out for availability between individual packages, room onlys, etc.

Thanks, I knew the APs rates were for 9/27 b/c while I am new to booking with codes I thought she does not know what she is talking about. I just thought I should go ahead and book.

Now if an AP rateor code comes out for the BC will they just apply it to what I have or will I need to cancel and rebook?

No code is automatically applied. You will need to call and see if there is availability and if it can be switched over.
Sometimes it can; sometimes not.
If you have a room only booking and want a package (such as the DDP) then you will definitely have to cancel the room only and rebook a WDTC package.
