confused- what restaurant do you suggest for lunch

if I only have one day to do Universal and IOA? Originally, I was thinking Hard Rock Cafe...but I'm confused about layout (having never been) - will it be a big hike to get there from the parks or is it in one of the parks? If it is a hike, what would be a comparable in-park place for lunch? The bottom line is I don't want to waste too much valuable park time getting to and from a restaurant.

In IOA we have found that Enchanted Oak Tavern's food is good and really fast. It is counter service. I would try to avoid a sit down meal if you are trying to do two parks in one day.

The Hard Rock Cafe is located between IOA and USO. If you are in USO the day you want to eat at the Hard Rock, there is actually a Hard Rock exit that will lead you right beside the cafe. It is located near Nickelodeon Studios.

No matter which way you go, it won't be a big hike. We ate lunch there on our last visit and it didn't take much time out of our day at all.

I would suggest Mythos for lunch. It's in IOA and it's awesome.

Although Mythos is my favourite as well, it is not a quick in and out restaurant. If you are trying to save time to do the parks in one day, I would save it for another visit.

I'll also vote for Burger Digs if you're trying to do both parks in a day. It's located in the Jurassic Park area. You get a burger, and there's a condiment station with lettuce, tomatoe, pickle and everything else you could think of. You can pile on the toppings and it will fill you up. Maybe that's what's missing from Mels Diner over at USF, but that's another story.
An order of Frings (fries and onion rings) is good as the side.

Do this, get to IOA early at 8am, get your front seat ride on Hulk as the park opens, continue going clockwise doing Spiderman, the water rides, JPRA, and then you'll see it. You'll end up there at about 10:30am just as they're opening. Have an early lunch because the line will be short. Now continue doing the rest of IOA, then over to USF when you can do some attractions, then have a big dinner in the evening.

Yep, get yer food in Enchanted Oak and saunter down toward the Alchemy part of the restaurant. Get your sports scores on the tube over the bar!
Keeps all parties happy!!

Whoever doesn't want to ride Dragons afterwards can stay and relax or go play games near-by!
Lost Continent is the bestest place in Florida.

Yep, me too! Definitely Mythos! I find that Enchanted Oak is kind of pricey for what it is. I would definitely spend the time in Mythos, its an experience not to be missed!

Get to Mythos five minutes before opening and you will be served pretty quick. And the food is the best I have ever had in a theme/amusement park anywhere. And I've been to alot.

If you want a quicker meal (counter service) Enchanted Oak is terrific. Mythos if you have more time.
