We know what we want (7 day hopper plus), and while I know if we had bought earlier, we could have saved a bit, we were content to wait a bit and order from a discount place, maybe even get some Q&C vouchers, or something like that.

But which place/site is best? And how do you find out what the perks are? For example, I read on these boards of some folks getting either breakfast vouchers or Disney quest tickets with the purchase of a 7 day hopper -- but I have YET to find a site that advertises this -- do I have to phone them for this info? With a total of 8 tickets needed for our party, a little perk could certainly make up our minds which site we choose (i.e. who cares if you pay $15 shipping if you get a bunch of breakfast vouchers in return...) And how can I find out the expiration date of the perk? It would totally stink to receive a perk that EXPIRES before we can use it!

We normally have bought through Disney... I like the plastic tickets. Seems more... indestructable. And we never use all of our passes -- we save them for the next trip. So how are those paper versions? Are they flimsy? Do they ever give you any problems at the gate (not reading properly, etc)

THANKS!!!

Ticketmania gives the Disney Quest tickets, they were giving breakfast vouchers but switched to DQ awhile back- Plus they have FREE S/H. From what I can tell they always include these with the orders fro the mousesavers link, but you can always just email and ask. They always respond to my emails, but are very busy right now and may take a day or two. They also give a slight discount in the mousesavers.com newsletter, it changes from month to month... right now it is $10 off the 5 day passes and a few others, but nothing on the 7 day. You already missed the price increase, so you might as well hold tight and see if the do the $10 off the 7 day PH's next month. I have also heard of PH's with extra pluses (free) being offered in the summer.

I hate to disagree with Haley, but it is not Ticketmania who gives the DQ tickets with 6 and 7 day Hoppers, it is Paramount. www.paramountinternationaltravel.com
Paramount does charge shipping.
Ticketmania SELLS DQ tickets for a really great discounted price (I THINK even better through the Mousesavers Newsletter. )
gopherit, none of the the places that give perks (and the only one that I know of is Paramount) with their passes advertises them on their web sites. It may be a contractual agreement with Disney, but I don't really know why not. If you call the 800 #, you can get all of the information that you need.
We have used the non-plastic passes on our past 3 trips and have never had a problem with them. I had an AP once and had no problem with it lasting a year (and actually it STILL is fine, just no longer valid :( - but I like to keep these things ;) .) Never had a problem with them being read at the gate. The "paper" that they are made with is very durable. You would be fine.
As for expiration dates, there are no expiration dates on the hoppers and admission media sold through most of the ticket brokers (EXCEPT for the 4 day Expiry Hopper that Ticketmania is selling these days.) The breakfast vouchers had expiration dates on them, but they are gone now.
I hope that this answers some of your questions... :)

If you're going to purchase Q&C vouchers, you'll need to join one of the savings clubs (Connections, Simple Escapes or Hotwire Savings Club). Paramount and Ticketmania don't offer Q&C vouchers.

Their 7-day PHPs are $302.90/$242.51 (adult/child). Taxes and shipping are included in the price. They do not DQ with the passes like Paramount does.

You can purchase breakfast vouchers at Hotwire or the others for $18.25/$11.00 and Q&C vouchers are $11.50 each. Shipping is free.

The passes that you get are a sturdy paper that doesn't rip easily. I'm not sure of the composition but it is definitely not regular paper. I've never had a problem with them getting so badly mutilated that they are useless.

BethR is right, it was PI that included the DQ tickets.... I should never post with out checking my notes...:o
