Confused on HOB certificate

DBF got a HOB resturant.com gift certificate using some of his debit card points. I see on the voucher it says not valid on gospel brunch or special events. I'm confused as to what counts as a special event? From the looks of their website they have so called "events" pretty much every night? We would be using the certificates on May 17th and it has three different bands showing that they are playing that are listed under "events". Anyone have experience using these certificates?

I used one on my last trip. Our first ADR ended up getting cancelled as they had someone rent out the entire venue, but we were able to reschedule the night after for an additional discount. We really enjoyed the food, but there wasn't any type of event going on the night we went.

We used one last week.....there was a long line for the part next to the restaurant for some kind of performance. Didn't affect us using the cert.

You may be looking at the concert schedule, which actually takes place in the concert hall next door. That shouldn't affect your ability to use the gift certificate in the actual restaurant.
