Confused: Cindy lunch

I know that there now is a Cindy table character lunch.

Does that mean that you can no longer order regular menu fare at lunch?

The only non-character time at Cindy's is dinner?

(we are two romantically inclined late-20 somethings, and though we will be doing a character meal, we don't really want one that is THIS hard to get.)
So what is the status of lunch there?

Yes lunch is a fixed menu character lunch. However, it is not all that hard to get. My sister and I ate there in July and had booked in early June(we had our Cindy's ressie before our plane tickets . We had an awesome table for 2 right by the window dead center. We thought the character interaction was fine for 2 adults that aren't huge into the princesses and I really enjoyed the major domo pie. little sis must have liked what she ate well enough because she wasn't at all upset that we're going back on January 7th to celebrate Mom's finishing the Half Marathon. That one was booked closer to 90 days but still not at the 90 day mark.

Oh and you may have seen the threads about the slipper dessert no longer being on the dining plan? Don't worry about it- sis and I both had one in May pre-character lunch and actually thought that the dessert that came with the character meal was MUCH better.

The idea of eating in the castle is kind of romantic (the menu by the way is on allearsnet.com)- but keep in mind there are alot of little prince and princesses around. If you are at all perturbed by alot of kids, this might not be the place for you. That said though, none of the kids that day (including our own) were that noisy or wild. Even though it is in the castle (and I personally thought the food was pretty good!)- it is still a character meal at lunch and kind of has a few of the disadvantages that you might associate with having characters around- as in you are pretty much rushed out the door in an hour or less.
