Confused by Genie, Genie+, Lightening Lane, etc.

The question makes total sense.

Yes, there are times where you can hold 2 reservations at once. If you make a reservation at 11 am for a ride at 4 pm, you can make another reservation at 1 pm for another ride. Say that return time is 6 pm, you can make a 3rd reservation at 3 pm and hold 3 at one time. It's rare for that to happen, but it could depending on what rides you choose and if you park hop.

Ok cool, I think I understand it now then.

You can hold multiple at a time.
Not sure why I thought contrary, but thank you for clarifying.

Yes, you would most likely pay $60 for a family of 4 to get on Rise of the Resistance without waiting in line.

I don’t care about ROTR as much. My family has ridden it twice and it was just ok. But my daughter s favorite ride is Everest and there is no way we can afford to pay extra just to not have an hour wait. We will try to rope drop but that means no FOP.

AK is going to be an unmitigated disaster for our family.

We were there last week. I think my husband used the single rider line for Everest if that is an option for you.

Everest rarely gets over a 45 minute line and they have single rider, you'll have plenty of chances to ride it.

If anything, I would pay for Flight of Passage and ropedrop Everest and the Safari.

Thank you. Single rider would totally defeat the purpose for my two teenage daughters and us. (I think single rider is fine in some cases not for us).

This whole system is really depressing me. I’m going to unsubscribe to this thread but I appreciate the (somewhat depressing) answers.
