I wanted to purchase two APs and book a hotel prior to my visit

after going through lots of internet & phone calls
found out some things:

1) you can no more book APs over the phone
so you have to send the application, which is in French.
and since it is by post, you will not know whenyou will be able to have it!

2) you can not book "hotel only" through disney.
it is only package booking........
(I thought you could!!)
>> if anyone has a number to book the hotels olny.
please let me know!!!

hmm---- very hard to plan my vacation,....
I wonder if I will ever go there-!

hope someone can help me

I was also told that when you book a package,
you can not get a refund for your ticket-

so if you are going to the resort and going to buy APs,
you need to book hotel ONLY......

which I do not know how to....

very confued

I think you can book room only once you have the AP as they offer 25% off the price of the room only.

I guess you need to go and stay in a non-Disney hotel the first time, then get your AP, ready for the next time you wish to go.

Why do you need to be in a Disney hotel particularly? I feel that the Disney recommended ones are just as nice and they work out at around half the price of the lowest price Disney hotels! Depends when you are travelling though I suppose. :confused3

Just thought.... how were you planning to travel?? If you book a Eurostar + hotel package then tickets do NOT appear to be included, so maybe this is an option for you?

Hello--- thanks for your information!!!
veeery helpful!!!

I LOVE the disney hotels,,
yes, they are expencive compared to others outside,
but you can walk to the park,
and the atmosphere is great-----

well, I guess I can try the hotels outside too--

thanks again!

and-- the eurostar---
I am going to go to Paris too,, so I could not do a package...

Would it not be feasible to book a Eurostar package to DLP, get your Disney hotel booked without the passes, then take the train into Paris from there?

Oh and BTW, when we are at DLP we don't spend enough time in our hotel to notice, let alone care, what the atmosphere is like :lmao:

I have booked 'room only' via Disneyland Paris many times. You can also book 'room only' via www.expedia.co.uk or www.expedia.de

The number for DLRP in my Skype is 33160306053

You MUST have the AP in hand to book AP rates, as Annette outlined above

when you buy an eurostar package
normally the train is London-Disney-London

so,, even if I don`t mind buying the ticket from Disney to Paris
it does not work, as I will have to go back to London once, and that will be just time consuming....

and-- yes , you don`t really spend that much time in the hotel,,
but we don`t like the buses-- as they are always so packed...
love walking and walking distance things---

Sorry but I am confused, why would you not wish to go back to London when you live there?

While I agree about the buses being packed, I found we did way too much walking just round the park, and consequently found the walk to the bus stop too much as it was.
