Going on Oct. 16 , 2017 Have Hopper for Epcot in Am .. then HS for rest of day Fantasmic is at 7:30. --- Star Wars Galatic S . Is at 8:00 ... Should I get a FB for 1 of them ? which one? also is Fantasmic only 30 minutes ? Any hint 's are Welcome ..

Maybe I was misunderstood . After Epcot . I was going to HS ? Is that 1 Show only. 30 mins . ?

Are you asking specifically about fast passing Star Wars fire works or fantasmic? There are not fastpasses for the star wars fireworks, but are for Fantasmic. Fantasmic is approximately 30 minutes long. I generally don’t recommend fast passing night shows as one of your first three fast passes. It is usually not necessary and limits the number of attractions you can fast pass. If you have not seen either show, I would recommend doing fantasmic. You can either arrive early and get in the standby line or can do a dinning package.

I agree with this. Don't FP+ Fantasmic. If you do, you are basically limiting yourself to 2 ride FP+ for your entire day without the chance of getting any more. Either wait in the standby line or book a Fantasmic dining package.

I wouldn't FP a night show either.

If you're going at a quiet time of year though you could book early FPs at Epcot and then get some FPs for DHS later on.

You can't really watch both Star Wars and Fantasmic! When you leave Fantasmic! the crowd will have already formed for Star Wars, and while you might make it into the area, you will not have a great viewing spot. You also really don't need an FP for Fantasmic! at all. I would get 3 for Epcot that day, then when you get to HS try to book a fourth one there. Fantasmic! Is usually easy to score later in the day because there are so many.

Keep in mind that having an FP for Fantasmic! does not really mean you can get there later, but more that you will have more choice of where to sit. The FP side of the theater still fills up quickly, so if you get there and the better seats are in the Standby section, then you could choose to sit there. If you do not have the FP you are locked into the Standby area only...if that makes any sense. I'm sure Robo will post a map.

You can't get a FP for the star wars fireworks. You can get one for Fantasmic but it won't benefit you in being able to see both shows.

The venue for a good view of the star wars show is small so Disney sets it up to where you need to pick which one you want to see. Or you'll have to leave Fantasmic early to get a decent view.

The star wars show is heavy on projections so you need a clear view of the Chinese theater. When I see it I get there about 45 min in advance.

In regards to Fantasmic with a FP, it's simply just more option of where to sit and near the middle. You still need to arrive early. For best choice of seats I always recommend arriving 45+ min ahead of showtime whether someone is standby, FP, or dining package

Do your first three as early as possible while at Epcot- modify the second one to an earlier slot once you scan into the first one. Then do the same for the third when you scan into the second. Then, if you want anything else that gets a real line in Epcot, book that FP right after you scan into your third one. Then look for the ones you want in DHS - book one of those and head over there. After that look for a fantasmic FP - you'll probably find one if you refresh a few times.

You should be able to get Fantasmic as a 4th FP. It's not worth getting one as one of your first 3, but as a 4th FP, it has value (guaranteed seating, don't have to wait in line for an hour, etc.).
