Confused about VEA tickets. HELP !!

Hi All,

This is the situation. All booked to go to DLP on the 4th Feb. The trip was booked through First Choice who then book direct through Disney.

I received my confirmation months ago which states that it should be taken with me and presented when i check in to my Disney hotel. On it has all the details eg flight times, hotel i am staying in and that i have a VEA transfer.

Today i received my E-tickets for my flight with Air France but that was it, no VEA tickets or anything else. Am i supposed to receive VEA tickets or is the confirmation with all my details on all i am supposed to have.

I rang First Choice to see and the man i spoke to didn't even know what the VEA was or whether i am supposed to have tickets or not

I would be grateful if anyone knows how it all works and could let me know.

Hi There!

I have to say with my own experience, every time I have flown to DLRP with the Travel Agent arranging the flights I have had VEA tickets included, and they have always sent me tickets. (small red and yellow slips) I have seen people with disney travel vouchers instead, (bigger pink slips) which the driver has accepted without any trouble, but that is the only pre paid ways I have seen used. You can pay the driver direct, but if the agent's confirmation says that transfers are included you shouldnt have to.

Get back on to the Agents and explain that your transfer tickets haven't arrived, and get them to check. I have to say I dont use First Choice these days as the staff seem quite uninformed about DLRP. I have seen me giving them advice when I have been in the shop!

The only times I have paid for transfers seperately have been when I have booked my own flights.

Hope it is sorted out soon. Enjoy your trip! (Im dead jealous, I wont be back till october at least. Bit of a lack of £££ this year. Cest la vie!)

I think you should go back to the travel agent. If you are sure that VEA is included you'll need tickets. Otherwise I suspect VEA driver will expect payment before you'll be allowed on the bus.

HOORAY!!! VEA tickets arrived today, so now i have everything.

I am so glad i questioned whether or not i was supposed to have them as i am sure if i hadn't i would never have got them.

Only 13 days to go and i can't wait
