We're going to WDW July 17- 24. Staying @ the All-Star Sports. How do you know what bus, monorail or ferry to use to get to the different parks?

The buses are easy. They will have signs on them telling you where they are going. So if you need to go to Epcot look for the bus that states Epcot on the sign on the front of the bus.

At the Monorail stations it will tell you where that monorail is going.

Where do you need to go and we can help with the best Disney transportation to get you there?

At ASSports, at the bus location, there will be many spots where the buses put into. Therewill be signs at each spot saying where the buses go from that particular spot. Now that doesn't mean that all busses pulling into that spot go to all the places on the list. You DO have to read the sign on the bus to make sure it is going where you are going.

As the bus gets to a park, DO NOT pay attention to what spot the bus pulls into. The spot you need to go to, to return to Sports may be different. There will be signs saying which pots serve each resort and park.

Monorails - if you are trying to go from MK to Epcot, you take the express monorail from the MK to the TCC, get off the monorail and walk across the platform to the Epcot monorail. If you are going from Epcot to MK, when you get off the Epcot monorail, you need to down the ramp and up the MK monorail ramp. Big signs show which ramp is which.

It sounds confusing, but it isn't too bad. As Tyler would say, when in doubt just ask somebody in purple pants (who is wearing a CM badge:D, not carrying a camera, with kids in tow ;) ).

They will give you a schedule when you check in. It lists everything you need to know. Failing that, pay attention to signs on the busses and signs on the ground. It is very easy and if all cities ran their busses this well, it would be a wonderful thing.

I can't second that enough...

PLEEEEEEEEASE... read the signs! :) They will tell you so much information!

From All-Star Sports, buses will take you to all four theme parks, both water parks, and Downtown Disney. DTD and Animal Kingdom share the same bus stop, so be sure to read the sign on the bus. Also, Blizzard Beach and Epcot share the same stop, so make sure to read the sign.

If you ever get confused, or have any questions about the buses, ask a bus driver. We're the ones wearing the purple pants. :)

Reading is SO IMPORTANT, I cannot count the times I have been on the bus and someone comes on and asks "is the bus to.....?
It is so clearly marked on the bus, what is the problem?

I have my hat off to any bus driver that makes it more than the 5 minutes I would last at that job. :)

Tyler when I ever read this post yesterday,I burst out laughing!! Why you ask? I t was because as I am reading your post my dad and a friend of his who is a retired bus driver/inspector for RIPTA down in Providence RI. were in the other room discussing this very thing!!!
