Confused about Star Wars fireworks

When do they usually do the Star Wars fireworks? I looked at today to get an idea and with a park close of 9pm the fireworks are at 7:45. We are going to be there in the spring. Do they ever do more than 1 show?

If you had to guess what time they will be Easter week, what would you say?

It's been all over sometimes right as the park closes (timed to end with close not start to close). it's been an hour early starting a few minutes before fantasmic. It's also been really early so you could see it and maybe fantasmic..

My best guess is it will not be when you think it would be.

MK is starting to do similar with fireworks before projection and much earlier than you would think.

Thanks. Did they run all through the fall and through the busy holiday season? Every night or just some nights each week?

First off it's not a fireworks show, it's a projection and laser show with some fireworks. Today's hours actually got extended, the park was scheduled to close at 8pm, about an hour ago they got extended to 9pm. If I had to guess I would say the show will be around the same time. Very rare for them to do 2 shows of SWaGS (It's never happened), you'll have a better chance at F! going twice

So for our DHS day should we just not have dinner reservations? Right now we have reservations at 6:45 for a restaurant on the boardwalk, but if the fireworks are that early that won't work. How far in advance do they put out the fireworks schedule?

Every night since they debuted June 2016 until October 2016 then ran 4 nights a week until the holiday season, they were taken away for Jingle Bell Jingle Bam but put in again starting Dec. 16th every night. Current schedule is out until almost the end of Feb with nightly showings

about a month in advance

I disagree that it's not a fireworks show, it has a healthy amount of fireworks similar to another property that does a combined projection with fireworks display.

I will agree it's been cranked up a little with more than just fireworks.

jingle bam was not a fireworks show, that was a cartoon with fireworks finale.

I think that it's important to make the distinction. People think fireworks show as Wishes this is a "nighttime spectacular".

I am going in March and those hours are not posted but I have to make fastpass reservations in a couple weeks. Our HS day is a Sunday during spring break. Surely they will show them nightly during that time?

All 2016 it's been that way.. things shift about the 15th of the month prior and yes you can't really plan well so do your best and be ready to possibly alter some of the plan closer to the trip

I'm curious about this too. We will only be at HS one day, and we would love to see both Fantastic and the Star Wars fireworks. Any hope for this on Saturday, March 25? I saw that last year they did 8:30 and 10 Fantasmic, and 9:15 Fireworks. We've never seen the fireworks, so that would be our priority.

That was the "old" Star Wars fireworks show.
They scheduled it so that guests could see both it and F!

That is a rarity with the current SW show.

But, ANYTHING is possible.

ok, I get what your saying now. It reads like "this is not fireworks" to me. I agree but think the "this is not a fireworks show" might be a bad way to start that sentence. "This not just a fireworks show and is a nighttime spectacular .........." is what I think your trying to say.

I'm going to amend and say *almost* every night - except the week in Feb with President's Day, the Princess Races, and most of the Northeast having a week of and all abandoning the frozen tundra for warmer weather... then HS is closing early on Monday and Thurs - and no Star Wars show on the schedule for those nights. I left two nights open at HS when I made ADRs - unfortunately, it didn't work out. Since it's a priority for my Star Wars loving DS, we tweaked an Epcot day to hop to HS for the show & dessert party.

For the new show that's true but the previous Star Wars fireworks abruptly went from every night to 4 nights a week in May.

Not that I'm bitter. :teeth:
