Confused about purchasing the AP

I haven't bought AP's in several years so I'm a little rusty here. I plan on purchasing 4 passes, I believe it's the FL resident/Gold Pass that has the DVC discount?

Anyways...I really want to buy them now, and not wait until our trip. Should I just purchase regular tickets and then upgrade when we leave? I looked on the DVC site and didn't see anywhere to purchase the full pass. I feel like I must be missing something...Any help/guidance is appreciated!

You can purchase the passes now. They will be linked to your account so you can get Fast Passes. You will get a voucher in the mail. You take your voucher, a photo ID, and your DVC Membership card to Guest Relations on the first day you want to use the pass, and that becomes the first day of your year.

I suggest calling Member Services to get your passes. There may be a way to do it online, but it is complicated enough that it was reassuring to have a CM explain it all.

It's easy to buy online. Just go to the normal ticket website and there's a little link that says something like "log in to see other options which you might be eligible to purchase." So, just log in, and you'll be able to purchase the Gold AP.

This is exactly what I did to get my gold pass.
