I'm a little confused about the night time shows at WDW in December.

Will they still have Fantasmic...even with the Candlelight Procession?

Will they still have Wishes at MK....even with MVMCP and/or
because the park closes quite a bit earlier in December (I think at 5 or 6pm!)

Is there any night time show at MGM? Will it be done
even with Osbourne Lights being up?

Also is Spectro Magic still around? Do they do it in December?

What about the lighted boat floats on the lake? Do they do
that one year round?

My trip dates are December 5th-11th, is there any regular parade or night time show that they don't do during this time?

Also, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but are there E-Nights in December?

All I've done is read up on everything WDW or last couple months, but for some reason I am confused about the above.

Thanks in Advance!

Here are a couple of things I can tell you.

1- They still do fantasmic even with the candlelight processional. CP is at Epcot while Fantasmic is MGM.

If you are talking about Illuminations, yes they still do that because I believe CP will be done before Illuminations takes place.

2 - If there is an MVMCP night, they will do wishes during MVMCP but not during the regular park hours when it closes early

3- The electrical floats I think you mean the electrical pageant and that is done around the MK resorts nightly weather permitting.

Sorry! I DID mean to say Illuminations when I was talking about the Candlelight Procession! -- See how confused I am! LOL!

2 - If there is an MVMCP night, they will do wishes during MVMCP but not during the regular park hours when it closes early

So does this mean there is no Wishes on nights with no MVMCP?

last year dec 6th (i think:confused: ) was a saturday night. MK was open until 11:00 that night and they showed wishes and 2 Spectromagic parades. we watched wishes that night and the 2nd parade. i believe they may have shown them earlier in the week as well, but since we attended MVMCP on two occasions we watched wishes then as well.
hope this helps:D

On the nights in Dec when they have the Christmas party, they will have the nighttime Christmas parade. This parade becomes the daytime parade once the Christmas parties are over, about Dec 18 or so. Then Spectromagic is shown again at night. After about Jan 1, Share a Dream Come True returns as the daytime parade.

No e-nights in December because they have Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party instead - only it costs a lot more than e-night. But you get more for your money.

As for the Electrical Water Pageant, it runs every night, unless there is a major storm happening at the time of the parade. Also, 2 years ago when we did MVMCP they ran the normal (pre-Wishes) fireworks show at 6pm, and ran an extended special holiday themed fireworks show during MVMCP. Didn't go last year so not sure if they still do it that way...

Epcot: Illuminations is still done everynight even with the Candelight Processional.

MGM: Fantasmic is the night time show at MGM and may or may not be running, just depends on how late the park closes (they do usually do it, but you would have to check the schedule on that one).

MK: On Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties nights, for regular park operating hours there is no night parade and no fireworks (as the park closes at 6pm for day guests). If you have tickets for the Christmas party you will be able to see the Christmas Parade as well as firworks (which may or may not be "Wishes" they will either run "Wishes" or Fantasy in the Sky for the party...)
On non MVMCP nights the park will stay open later and they will run Wishes fireworks and may or may not run Spectro Magic, you would have to check the schedule when it comes out. They tend to run at least one Spectro a week during that time frame.

The water pageant on the lake is every night (not right now though courtesy of Hurricane Charley...but should be back to normal by the time you are here).
