Hi! I am just getting started on this process and am currently waiting to hear back from Disney after giving them out date. We are looking at January 22, 2017 which is a Sunday and we wanted the Magic Kindgom Train Station. I just ordered the passporter book online and am looking at it. I see that this venue costs $10,000 for just the ceremony. And then do I have a $10,000 minimum expenditure for the reception or is that only if the reception is in Magic Kingdom? I am trying to figure out what the minimum amount would be so I can see if this location is even an option for us. We are thinking about 50 people. There will be more invited so we are currently trying to ask around to see who would actually attend. Thanks for any help!

The pricing was just increased to $15k for the mk train station

Thanks for telling me! I think that pretty much rules it out. We were trying to stay at or under $20,000 for the whole thing.

Note that Disney has also raised the price of the Magic Kingdom Train Station ceremony location. That venue's Ceremony Fee is now $15,000, with a $10,000 Food & Beverage Minimum and a $15,000 Enhancement Minimum. Like the East Plaza Garden, this location requires a $10,000 deposit to book. However, Train Station ceremonies still take place before the park opens to most day guests.

There are also no reception options inside Magic Kingdom, the closest would be one of the ballrooms at the Contemporary or Grand Floridian or (depending on your size) one of the restaurants on the monorail like California Grill, Citricos, etc. In park receptions are done at the other three parks, however I'm not 100% confident on if they can happen during park hours at Animal Kingdom/Hollywood Studios, especially considering current construction (Epcot has several commonly used spaces inaccessible to day guests so I know receptions during park hours happen there!!)

So just to make sure that I am understanding correctly. That would be a minimum of $40,000. Is that correct? Because the food and beverage minimum and enhancement minimum do not overlap, right?
