confused about "Mickey's Very Merry Holiday Party" at magic kingdom

It's at the very end of the reservation process.

At the end of the process. It's ridiculous.

They should show it right there on the page before you click on the bubble with the time in it. I was just doing this today and was appalled at how late the notice came up.

You guys act like it's a gif floating all over the pages from beginning to end, but it's nowhere near as obvious as you're making it out to be.

And by the time you've gotten there and try to go back to snag an earlier time, those are gone. Serious waste of time.

When you click on the date for your reservation it show you the regular dinner hours versus the MVMCP hours.

So, I am just learning of this "Mickey's Very Merry Holiday Party." I plan on visiting the Magic Kingdom on 12/1/16, I have a standard park admission and I made Be Our Guest Dinner reservations for 7:05 this night, which I thought was fine and normal.

Now I see this holiday party is running in the park starting from 7pm to late and they charge a separate admission for the holiday party.

Does this mean I'm going to get kicked out of the park at 7pm, if I don't have a holiday party admission, and I can't go to "Be Our Guest"?

Help! I'm really not keep on buying $100 admissions for a holiday themed "party" when I have already paid park admission for this day. Does anyone know how this will work?

Yes, non-party guests are asked to leave after Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party gets underway. Be aware that the days of the week that are not party nights will be much more crowded at MK, because non-party goers like yourself will all want to attend on those days.

As PP showed it is in the operating times for the establishment as well.

Yes, this one is all on me. Like I said, I was 100% ignorant of this party even being a thing (never book a trip in December before).

I'm really bummed now, because you can't get BOG at any time when this party isn't going on. It seems your ressie must be earlier than 6:15 for it to count if you aren't buying party tickets- as others said above, you DO get a warning when making the reservation that you need a separate admission for the party. (I just willfully ignored it the first time because I was so darn excited I got a time in the first place.)

Oh, well, I'll just keep trying daily until the trip happens, I am determined to dine here once in my life!

Oh sorry you accidently caught a party night. I second the keep trying. I scored a last moment one last Christmas could not believe my luck!

Definitely keep trying. I just got a BOG dinner for a trip that's 13 days away.

Use the touring plans reservation finder. People change their plans all the time, and this handy program notifies you when an opening is available for the date and time and party size you want at a particular place. You have to be quick and make the reservation yourself, but it's a lifesaver, trust me.

As long as you're flexible I bet you'll get in. There were times available right before our trip, but they didn't work for us.
