ok, we leave end of next week for our spring vacation and called to make sure all accommodations for room were correct. PPH, conceirrge.

While on I asked about booking our end summer vacation, at the grand. The informations got from all three people I was transferred to just does not make sence to me. The insist that they just renovated all views, and all levels of rooms to include day beds not just the standard, at the grand. They insisted you can get a premium view, dtd view, woods view and standard view with day beds in them. I spoke with reservations, supervisor and guest services, since the accommodation had to be okayed by a guest relations.

Anyway, can anyone confirm this. I am asking daybed not bunk bed. I know of no renovations at the grand, and honestly can not figure out how they could fit a daybed in any regular room. The rooms that had them were the ones in front of the hotel above lobby that had more square footage in them because they were bigger the daybed fit.

Does anyone know if this info is true and can confirm for me.

You are correct, the CMs are confused. There have been no renovations and there are only 39 daybed rooms (all standard view, at the front of the hotel).

There has been a recent post that rollaway beds are now available at GCH, rather than only providing a pad and sleeping bag for a 5th guest.

Can anyone confirm roll away bed? This is why i just booked

Disneyland hotel. There is no way I am having someone sleep in a sleeping bag at over $500 a night on a hotel floor. I'm 5, 1" and I am usually the one that takess the day bed or rollaway in our family of 5. If I had not read about it on these boards, I would have flipped my lid when they gave me a sleeping bag.

And that is exactly why my family of 5 will never be staying there, despite how beautiful it is. Sad. Hoping they'll decide to change this at some point, but it definitely hasn't happened yet.

There is not room for the day beds in most of the rooms at the Grand. The last room we had (pool view), my younger daughter brought an air mattress. To use it, part of it had to be under the table beside the TV. Not sure where they would put a roll away.

The only report about a rollaway at GCH was this post in the Superthread.

It does seem like the table would need to be removed to accommodate a rollaway bed.
