Confused about Hours

I looked up the park hours and various show/parade times during our visit (2nd week of June). The hours posted for MGM were 9-9 some days, and 9-10 some days. The time for Fantasmic was 9p, and on some nights had a second show of 10:30. Do they show this after the park is closed? Do they just have the Fantasmic viewing area open and the rest of the park closed?

I have also read on this board that Test Track is open and has no line during Illuminations at Epcot. But according to the hours posted, Future World closes at 7, while WS is open until 9.

I know that my confusion probably seems silly to all of you DIS experts, so please pardon my ignorance!!!!!!

Thanks!:teeth:

I'm not sure what the answer to your first question is...probably that the attractions at MGM close at 10 and you can only get into Fantasmic. As far as Test Track goes, this is something I never realized until my third visit!! Some of the more popular attractions in Future World stay open until 9. Test Track, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth. May be others but I'm not really sure enough to say. We've found that after 8 is a great time to ride these.

I'm pretty sure that you've got it right about Fantasmic-- if the park closes at 10 and the second showing of Fantasmic is at 10:30, only Fantasmic remains open (plus a few gift shops undoubtedly.)

Also, even though FW at Epcot is listed as closing at 7, usually Spaceship Earth, Test Track, and Mission: Space all stay open until 9. (I don't remember for sure, but Honey, I Shrunk the Audience might also.)

When we were there mid-May, Test Track, Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience were all open until 9:00 pm. The schedule that they gave us said that Universe of Energy was also open until 9:00 pm, but it was closed when we arrived there about 7:45 pm with no CM's around. One woman kept pointing to her schedule and telling me that it was supposed to be open.
