Confused about Halloween vs Oogie Boogie Bash

Hello,
We are going for our first time to Oogie Boogie Bash this year, along with a few other days at the parks. I am confused, and I'm hoping someone here can help me. The official website mentions several rides that will have a Halloween theme, such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Tow Mater. Will you only be able to see those changes during the Oogie Boogie Bash, or will you be able to see them at any time? It seems like a lot of work to just make them accessible during the party. Thank you

A majority of the Halloween theming is decorative, not ride overlays. However, you mention Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, and that overlay is all the time during the Halloween season. The Guardians of the Galaxy overlay is called Monsters After Dark, and it runs every night after 5 PM (I think) - so not exclusive to OBB but only during the evening.

Yeah, as Meeshy says you will be able to see the majority of the Halloween changes on the rides and in the parks. I believe the only things you will miss from OBB is the characters on the treat trails/meet n greets, the special parade, and Villians Grove. That's partly why we decided to skip OBB this year and last. We can get all the Halloween vibes in the parks without spending extra for the party.

Mission Breakout closes at 2pm daily and reopens at 3pm as Monsters After Dark. That is daily during Halloween season (not just on OBB nights). You can pull a lightning lane for both as they are separate attractions. Monsters After Dark is a good bit scarier, but a lot of fun!
