Confused about Double Pirates and CTF Scoring MERGED

Last Friday when we were getting double credits in CTF we also got double for shooting and killing the other team. Today that isn't the case. Has anyone else noticed that we're getting fewer credits today than we did last Friday? It seems to be about 100 credits fewer per game to me at least.

I only played three games today, and the credits they gave me were:
91 credits LOL (playing against people MUCH better than me, I'm not that good in
pirates)
0 credits
347 credits.

Then I went back to fireworks lol. But when tigger gets on and more people
get back from school/work then we can play friendly pirates with dissers and
get a lot more credits.

But it does seem to be giving me double credits, to answer the main question.

On Tuesday, what do we get double on? Winning and/or loot for capturing the flag? Also how do they determine how many credits you get on a normal day?

On Thursday, do we get double credits for Winning and/or loot from killing other ships?

I think what is going on is this:
For CTF it's giving us double for flag scoring and winning, NOT shooting other
ships.

For SB it's giving us(this is my prediction since it hasn't happened yet) double
for shooting down ships and winning.

Just my thoughts.

Something is wrong. Normally when I play friendly capture the losing team gets 221 points each. The winning team should be 476. Today I am only gettting 371, missing 105 points which just happens to be the score for winning the round. This has happend so far in every game I have played. Anyone get this playing friendly?

Edit: Looks like we are getting double flag points but winning points aren't being doubled?

i am/was playing friendly winning team getting about 371. i normaly do not play flag but when i do i usually get about 150 if i win, so I thought we were getting double, but i do not play flag often so...........

We have been discussing this throughout the morning. It is NOT double like it was on Leap Day. We've played real games, pretend games, 2 on 2, and 3 on 3.

We are getting much less credits per game.

We have come to a similar conclusion that Coaster wrote above. In short: The flag points are doubling, but not the gold.

Today is not truly double credits in pirates. Arrrrr.

In another thread, someone mentioned that shot/hit points are not being doubled either. Since I play for max games and only shoot by accident I didn't notice that. VMK is you're listening (and we know you are) please fix or explain why double pirates is different today.

Glad, I wasn't the only one seeing the double credits or points not occurring while playing "Capture The Flag". Playing friendly pirates I was thinking it was going to be 456 per win, and was surprised when the 371 or so came up only...

Well I wrote a short not to VMK using contact us. Waiting to see if there's an explanation. Waiting to see if they change the meaning of double on Thursday too.

This is what I think happened...

As far as I know - they have never done different days for double battle and double flag - it was alwasy double pirates...

So when they seperated the two - that is what triggered the - no double for shooting thing...

I suspect on Thurs. - if you play flag and sink ships - your points may get doubled for the sunk ships (getting flag still the same)

I can help, you multiply everything by 2:

When u hit a person in SB you get 5 normally X 2 = 10 points
If you get a person all by yourself you get all the points they earned and the points you get from shooting them
If you winn you normall get 100 but X 2 = 200
so you get 200 and the points u earned if you win


I am not so sure on CTF
