Confused about dining plan

We will be going to disney world a Saturday-Saturday but on the first day probably not arriving until late afternoon and the last day leaving early morning. My ? Is how do they do the points I guess you call them do we get 8 quick service, 8 snack & 8 table service? Even if we are arriving late etc.

I believe it is based on the # of nights you stay.
We never book a table service the night of arrival. We just eat quick service. We save that for another day or use it for table service on the ones with 2 credits.

Yes, the dining plan goes by the number of nights stay, so you will have 7 TS, 7 CS and 7 snacks per person if you are doing the regular plan. You can use these all in one day or spread out any way you wish to over your 8 days.

You will get the credits based on the number of nights you stay not days. they will be active from check-in and will expire midnight on your checkout day so you can still use any credits you have left after you check out up to midnight.
