confused about Candlelight Processional

I saw on the restaurant board that the CP reservations were open this morning on line and several have already gotten them, but when I called the CM told me that they are not taking reservations yet but will begin on July 9th. Does that mean that the people who made theirs this morning before it got "taken down" from the web site still get to keep theirs? She told me that Ashley Judd is the narrator from Dec.4 -6 but the one before and after her are TBA. Is this one of those "call at 7am" things in order to get it? Just checking to see if I need to set my alarm that morning!

Rest assured that you will still have the opportunity to see it even if you don't have a reservation. We were able to see Geena Davis last year during the really busy Thanksgiving weekend just by waiting in line for less than an hour. We still had nice seats and the show is well worth it. That being said, I don't have a good answer to your reservation question.

There are so many restaurants that participate in the CP, I'm sure that you will have no problem getting a reservation at 6 months out, after 7:00AM. I would caution that if the celebrity list is released and a popular celebrity is narrating, the reservations will start to get harder to get so don't sit on it too long plus the popular restaurants tend to book up faster than others.

I know last year when we were there after Thanksgiving week there was a kiosk in the park near the American Adventure getting people reservations so obviously it would be quite unusual to have everything book up.

Thanks for the list. The Narrator is a very important part of the show for me.

My favorite was Marlee Matlin - the deaf actress. Her interpreter spoke as she signed, but she did sing along with the songs.

I am sure that you will be able to secure a reservation for whatever night you want. But getting the restaurant that you want is the real trick...

I'm excited Whoopi Goldberg will be there the day I arrive in WDW and Dennis Haysbert will be there my last night. I would love to see either one, it will be interesting to see who is there from 12/8-12/10

Yes...there was a glitch in the system which I read about over in the thread in dining when I got up.
So some of us were able to secure a ressie before Disney could fix the glitch. All ressies made during that time ( a couple of hours I think it was) will be honored.
July 9- Try online at 6 am but they might not be available to book until 7.
