I have searched this forum and tried to read as much as possible on these topics, but I am still confused. Please forgive me!
I called Disney travel today to get separate quotes to compare a package with a room-only and to find out the perks to booking a package. For 3 nights at the PPH room only they quoted $831, but it is $722 on the disneyland website. Both of these prices include taxes. Why is it different when you call?
I also wanted to know the perks of booking a package. The only benefit that we really care about is Magic Morning, which I know we will get if we buy our own 3-day Park Hoppers anywhere. The CM on the phone said that regardless of if you book a package or book room-only, we will only get one Magic Morning during our stay.
I thought that if you stay on-site you can get a MM for every day that you are there when MM is offered. She said NO, only one MM during our stay. Is this correct? Is this something new, or did I misunderstand? I thought that we would get to participate in MM on both the Saturday and Sunday of our stay just because we are staying at a Disney property.
I guess I'm leaning toward booking directly online through the Disneyland website and buying our 3-day Park Hopper tickets where we can get the lowest price. Unless I am missing some huge benefit to booking a package. I don't care that much about lanyards, luggage tags, priority seating or Toontown Morning Madness.
Thank you!
