Confused about AP DLR hotel pricing

So I go into the Annual Passholder section and check out the hotel discount for May. For the nights we are staying, it shows a total of 474. But when I hit the book online link, and it thinks for a LONG time, it then says the total is over 700. Tax should only be about 50 ish. The resort fee about the same (for 3 days) so that would be about 575ish. Why is the total coming up over 700??

Because what is shown in the calendar isn't always what is available at that exact moment. Sigh. Call instead.

I have tried a few times to book the AP rate online and it never works. Last time I would get towards the end and it would prompt me to select a hotel again. After I already did.

So, I just call. It seems they are slow when booking via telephone, but the job gets done and the rate is correct. Once she said the rate wasn't coming up for her and she went online, saw what I saw and had a supervisor override her system to accept it.

I'm so frustrated! I've been trying and trying but the rate when I actually try to book is 2-3 times more than the listed rate! I called today, but even when I pointed out the website prices, he said that there was nothing he could do. The difference between the posted rate and the rate he quoted me was almost $600!!!!

I'm getting pretty dispirited about ever staying in a DLR hotel. Not to mention, bait and switch advertising is illegal.

I am having the same problem--the rate on the website says $264 (for the GCH) vs. the rate that comes up when i try to book online and when I call (396--just 10% off rack rate). Very frustrating!!!
