CONFUSED about AP discount for WL and AKL!

Hi everyone, I'm planning a three night stay for June (can't wait till August vacation) and after spending many hours at my computer I finally read the AP codes for WL and AKL. I called today and was told that the code for AP holders expired on Saturday. Is this correct??? I thought since it states travel dates between April 28/ July 3, it would be available till the number of rooms allowed for the discounted price were filled up. However, the CM I spoke with (not very friendly) said, that the AP discount code was only available until Saturday, regardless of the number of rooms reserved. Now am totally confused!

So, I called again and spoke with the nicest CM and she said, yes the AP code is still availble for travel dates between April 28/ July 3. Unfortunately, the WL was NOT available but, the AKL was! She also stated to keep calling every morning, because sometimes there are cancellations. This confused me even more, because if the AP discount is not available after Saturday, April 27, how can I keep calling and get the WL, if there's a cancellation?

I would greatly appreciate any information regarding this!

I could be wrong, but I think the original CM you talked to was confused about what rates ended. I believe the regular code rates ended on Sat. night. We just got the AP rates! Now, we're waiting for more reg. code rates for after 7/3. I would also suggest calling each day to see if someone may have cancelled a room. THis does happen, thereby opening up one for someone else.

So many people must be calling about different discounts that we are confusing the CM's!! When I called the DC to inquire about a regular DC discount at WL in August the CM said there were no discounts available past 7/3 - I really didn't think this was correct because I have made reservations 10- 11 months out before with the DC discount. I asked her when I should call back and she said to wait til late May, early June and to "check my Mickey Monitor"!?! (think she was confused with AP discount!!)

I hung up, got advice from the boards and called back. The next CM was very helpful, yes there were DC discounts available and she said if I had waited that long, there might not have been anything available. (Now I'm waiting for those new codes!!!)

As so many people have found, call, call, and call again if the info you get seems wrong. Even the second CM I spoke with said "What are the chances you'd speak with the same CM twice."

Thanks goodness we have the information from these boards. Many times the people here know more than the CM's!!!!!

Call again, You may et differant info. However be awarethat I called the day AP's came out and was told for my time frame Wilderness and Animal kingdom's rooms at the ap discount were already all booked. So perhaps they are all booked. still, I would try again. Good Luck.

Hi everyone, thanks for responding. Now I know am not going crazy......the information the first CM gave me seemed a little off.

All morning I've called and called and called and still NO standard WL for early June. AKL was and IS still available so I reserved AKL. I'm still hoping the standard WL room becomes available!!! All that is available w/ AP code is Poly, WL courtyard view, GF, OKW, BW, and YBC. NO moderates are available NO contemporary standard room .
