Confused about Animail Kingdom Villas

I books the Jambo House and I know Kidani is being built now...Is Jambo House also new or just a part of the original building at Animal Kingdom Lodge? Thanks for your help...

Jambo House is part of the original building. Some of the old rooms were converted to DVC.

Most of the hotel rooms on the 5th floor of AKLodge and all 15 of the rooms on the 6th floor were gutted and converted to AKVillas. That part of AKV is called Jambo House. So while those villas are in an existing building, they are new in the sense that they were completely redone in 2007 and early 2008.
