So we booked a last min trip to Universal. ( We leave Tuesday) We booked their package deal at Cabana Bay. We were told that now there is an airport shuttle for Cabana Bay that is included but when I look online it looks like we have to pay $35 for it. Whats the deal? Also how is this shuttle, any details on it would be great because I cannot find much info on it since it is new.

It is $35/person return. Your information will be in your email documents if you book it. You pick up your tickets at the Universal Store at the airport and you'll be directed from there.

As people have said, it's $35/pp. It will depend on the size of your party if that's worth it or not. For me and DD, it was cheaper than other options so we went with it.

Think about using Tiffany Town Cars. It is $75 one way. $130 round trip from MCO to Universal for 2 or 3 people. They have nice cars and meet you at the baggage claim, where they take charge of your luggage.

Again, it's going to decide on financials. $130 vs $70 isn't worth someone toting my one suitcase for me. If I were a family of five, with multiple kids, it would be worth it.

My DD and I used Mears Shuttle service last trip. We found that you can get a discount online, so we spent about $57 for the two of us round trip. The airport to resort ride was super easy and we were the only ones on our shuttle.
I will say though, that I don't think I'll use them again for return to the airport. The whole situation was ridiculous. The shuttle never came even after checking with them before our time to make sure they were coming. I was in contact with them a number of times after it was late and finally they sent a cab for us (45 minutes after our pick-up time).
In the future we'll likely do Mears to get to the resort and them take a cab or Uber car to get to the airport.

We had 7 in our group last year, so we booked Tony Hinds (his email and number are listed in the transportation post.) It was $100 for a round trip and a grocery stop.
