Confused about $150.00 "resort gift card"

Included in our package is a 150 resort gift card. I can't tell, even after reading the DL web site, if the gift card is good only at the hotels, or also at
1. downtown disney
2. in the parks?

I was planning to use it for our brunch at goofy's and lunch at Ariel's and other food stuff at the park.

I also have a 25 gift card from getting my VISA and I know that only works at the parks? right?

Also, I have some reward points on my new rewards card, where can I use those?

trying to limit how much cash I have to take.

Hi Abby's Mom,

The $150 gift card can be used at any restaurant or shop at Disneyland and California Adventure, and all three Disneyland Hotels. I think you might be able to use it at World of Disney in Downtown Disney, but I haven't confirmed that.

Though I have a Disney Visa, I haven't tried any rewards, etc., on it.

My gift card from Disney Visa only works at Disney Stores.. which are NOT affiliated with Disneyland :S.... so they won't work except online or at the mall.

The rewards cards work at the park, hotels, online, World of Disney, etc... I think they are talking about the bonus card they got when they applied for the Visa. I don't know about that one.

We use our Rewards card all the time. I just call visa and have them transfer the credits over to the card when we are heading to Disneyland. On Saturday we ate at the Carnation Cafe (used our AP discount) and it didn't cost us one penny using the Rewards Card. We have used the Rewards Card at Disneyland as well as all parks in DisneyWorld. Never had a problem using it at any Disney location. Now non-Disney places (Rainforest Cafe, etc) it is not accepted but I understand that. When we were in Orlando last summer all meals at the parks were paid for using the card. No out of pocket expenses for us!

Easy clarification. Disney rewards are redeemable for ANYTHING Disney. Any Disney store, park, restaurant, online, hotel...anything Disney.

The gift card is for any Disney store, restaurant, park, dining @ Disneyland. There are no exclusions. The only requirement is that it is Disney owned.
