Conflicting Info

I'm getting conflicting information regarding buses at Skyliner resorts (specifically AoA). I know in inclement weather Skyliner sometimes shuts down and buses are provided in those instances, but my question is when the weather is fine, are buses offered from AoA to Epcot and HS and back? If I don't want to take the Skyliner, can I hop a bus instead, or is Skyliner to HS and EP my ONLY option to get there and back on normal weather days?

I don’t have firsthand experience, but I’ve read in multiple places that buses ARE available to HS and Epcot at AoA, even when the skyliner is running.

No, only during inclement weather that shuts down the Skyliner.

Is this a brand new change?

I know buses don’t run from Pop to HS/Epcot unless the Skyliner shuts down, but the bus has continued to be offered on a regular basis between AofA and HS/Epcot.

We were there in June and there was a sandwich board in front of the lobby that let us know buses were available at all times to Epcot and Hs, however we did have daily thunderstorms predicted so maybe they are just offering it ahead of time. Also note that one skyliner may be running while the other is down! We had this issue returning from Epcot one evening. Epcot line was down so we boated to HS to take the bus. When we arrived the line was running from HS in the rain so we took it! It was frustrating and confusing never knowing when it was running. They could send push notifications…it would help immensely.

As of last week, busses were still running from AoA to Epcot and HS every day, regardless of weather. I can't speak to their frequency as I never used them.
