Does anyone call Member Services right before you leave just to confirm your reservation?

No need if you have your confirmation they send you in the mail. You might want to call the place you are staying to confirm your requests, but that is it. Just my opinion anyway.

I agree, no need to call and confirm, unless you did not get your letter. We have more than 25 DVC trips and never had a problem and almost always got exactly what we asked for when the reservation was made.

Relax and have a great trip.

Thanks everyone! This is our first trip on DVC and I just don't want anything to go wrong. I hear such horror stories here on the boards and I just want the same magical trip I get when I say in the other non-DVC hotels at WDW.

I ditto Bill's comments. We've been members at OKW for over ten years & have had no problems with check in. Once I make a reservation, I don't call back unless I need to amke some type of change - like add a guest's name, etc.
