Confirmed Waitlist Request???

I have/had 2 active waitlist requests for the last 6 months. Just now I checked the Members Site and I still have them but also have 1 confirmed waitlist request and one expired wait list request. What does this mean??

The confirmed and expired one are the same and I still have my original reservation showing with no change in available points. If this had gone through my point total would have increased.

Hope this means my wl came through but just haven't heard yet. Dare I hope?

When I have had waitlist requests come through, sometimes I know about it, and sometimes I don't. Your best bet to find out would be to look at you upcoming vacations on your DVC member site. It would show you what you have booked, and you can tell that way if you got your waitlist. I hope you did! It is a good feeling when they come through.

I had a waitlist that I sorta forgot about once, so I never checked, I just showed up at the resort I booked at. They did not have a reservation for me. I asked them to check other resorts, and sure enough, BCV had a room waiting for me. They didn't notify me, and I didn't look, so I didn't know! Now I ALWAYS look!

Yes - go ahead and hope, LOL.

I think it means one of your waitlists worked , so the other was cancelled. A CM is probably in the process of completing the work to make the new reservation and adjust the one you have (if needed). Check back later and/or check your email.

Something similar happened to me just before I got an email with the new reservation.
