Yes that was a concern, the town square circle. The Mack truck might not be able to make that turn.

And I assume they're not sending it all the way to Orlando just to give it a whirl around town square to see if it fits.

Maybe it was the turn around Town Square? I know at DL they didn't have to circle Town Square like they do in the MK.

Isn't the backstage access just one quick turn off of Main Street at DL, meaning it doesn't actually have to circle around the flag pole area? And at WDW, doesn't it have to circle most of the distance around the flag pole island?

I think this was one of the key issues.

It's the same setup at both parks, they have to use Town Square but they do. The only things that don't use Town Square are Move It Shake It and Parades at DL during Candlelight.

I don't know if the Disney execs agree, although I admit I don't know any more than your do. Even without MSEP, I assume that MK will continue to be absolutely packed for Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. I think the "powers that be" believe the crowd needs to be disperse to other parks, such as AK.

Yeah I think they really want to hype their much delayed night time show at AK.... looks like even the Star Wars Fireworks might not get extended once the AK show get started.

There is no chance that parade is not safely stored indoors.

MSEP is stored inside... They do often have parades under a car port style overhang though but I'm sure those moved inside as well. (current special parade + hub dance party floats) are usually under the car port.

so you leave 1 float out.. but I think it would make it, FoF floats are not small and they make it. but I see where the concern is on the right turn, it would be tight if it make sit.. also the left at liberty bell isn't a gentle turn.

FoF floats were built specifically for MK though. Paint the Night was not.

Paint the Night was not built for Japan it was built for Hong Kong, two completely different parks. Hong Kong and Disneyland in CA have basically the same layout thats why it works.

sorry mixed up the newer msep that japan got. I can see where it might be tight but I think it would still work. it would definately work if they ran it back to front but that gets in the way of getting people out in waves at the end of the night.
