*Confirmed* G+ Changes to Advanced Lightning Lane

Looking at the tiers there is very little of value in the tier 2 bucket at most parks. Thank goodness we go for multiple days. It would be really hard to fight for this if you only have 1 day/park (though to be fair, it’s not inconsistent with how it is at HS currently if you want to ride Slinky).

I like it, for the most part. Probably wouldn't use it at Epcot now. Maybe not AK. I don't know, I might. Rope drop is back to being essential though for a lot of guest.

The general buzz on various outlets seems to be positive. There are a lot of guests excited about it, but I understand not everyone is.
My thoughts are if you go to one park and stay there all day it’s better. If you’re used to hopping and stacking (or just stacking) for the evening it’s worse. Unfortunately I’m in the second group. Hopefully after reading reports though we can make it work well. I’m sure we will but it doesn’t sound great right now.

We might, might come down and do a water park only trip next year, but won't come back down for a park trip until 2026 or 2027. And I'm a sure other changes will come into play by then. But it really seems like doing a longer, more park days itinerary will be the most beneficial. Fortunately that was my plan anyways.

I think this is going to make things worse rather than better....

I liked the Genie+ system, despite the faults that were there... alas....

It appears the multi-park pass is dead for now?

Why does it matter? The 120 rule is now gone which makes the process a whole lot simplier for everyone. You use one book another it's pretty simple.
It was helpful to stack rides for the afternoon at DHS. It’s true the process is simpler now.

Since I never once purchased Genie+, from inexperience this seems easier to me. Somewhat like FP+ booking, just 7+lengthy of stay. With a family of 6 maybe would only get it a few days for select parks. Would love if they would throw it in for deluxe resorts for free but if they are always booked to capacity, no point in trying to incentivize people to stay there.
