Confirmed DVC annual pass prices

I called Member Services and it is true. We are getting the FL resident pass prices starting tomorrow!

AP will be $425 + tax
PAP will be $559 + tax

I guess they must be expecting to raise the price of DVC points for Grand Floridian project and need a good DVC discount to be a selling perk!

My guess is they are just price matching, we are not getting an actual Florida AP. The DVC contract says we are not considered Florida residents.

Any thoughts on what will happen with DVC AP renewal prices?? We arrive at WDW next Sunday so I called member services and paid for our tickets today. Saved better than $100... assuming renewal prices don't go DOWN tomorrow!

That's why I deleted my post... I realized it was the same as the "old" price, and I'm concerned that may not be accurate, and I don't want to post bad information. I'm actually going to call back and ask that same question to see what I find out.

I should have add I think + tax but was not noted...since it was around $398 when last renewed.

Just so I have my figures correct, the $385 is pre-tax?

Dh's AP expires Oct. 3 (we will be there then), so I ordered a 7-day ticket from Undercover tourist today to use to re-new his AP (using the 7-day ticket) once we arrive. Yes, he will use his 7-day pass once and then we will go to guest services to apply that ticket to renewing his DVC AP. Hope it works!
